SANTA FE, Nueva Vizcaya – Police and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) intercepted a truck loaded with hot lumber worth P1 million here on January 5.

Truck helper “Sam,” 30, from Nagtipunan, Quirino, was arrested while “Tamtam,” the driver, managed to escape.
One-hundred one Narra lumber and flitches valued at P1 million were confiscated.
The truck, along with the lumber, is currently under the custody of the DENR Calitlitan Aritao Office for proper disposition.
Authorities are pursuing Tamtam.
