A fire gutted a warehouse in Barangay Canumay East, Valenzuela City on Saturday evening, Jan. 6.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the blaze in the warehouse on Bonifacio Street was raised to the first alarm at 9:34 p.m.

It went up to the second alarm at 9:52 p.m. and then to the third alarm at around 9:58 p.m.
The fire status reached the fourth alarm at about 10:22 p.m.
The Valenzuela City government said the fire was declared under control at about 1:37 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 7.
It was extinguished at 8:51 a.m.
Meanwhile, a residential area on the same street was also hit by a fire at about 4:58 a.m. on Sunday.
Fire fighters were able to put the fire out at about 5:43 a.m.
As of 6 a.m. on Sunday, the city government said that 114 residents or 33 families living near the storage facility were evacuated to the 3S Canumay East Covered court.
They were given hot meals at the evacuation center.
Probers are still investigating the cause of fire as of this writing.
