Makati City's wanted person nabbed in Pasay City

A man wanted for serious and slight physical injuries in Makati City was arrested by members of the Pasay City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) on Jan. 4.

According to Pasay City police chief Col. Mario Mayames, the suspect identified as alias Joe was arrested at around 4:40 p.m. on Pasadena St. in Barangay 70, Pasay City.

Mayames said members of WSS nabbed the suspect by virtue of warrants of arrest issued by two different courts in Makati City.

He said one of the arrest warrants against the suspect was issued on Dec. 13, 2023 by Judge Maureen Lazo Rubio-Marquez of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 128 for violation of serious physical injury.

Another warrant of arrest for slight physical injury was issued by Judge Liza Marier Picardal-Tecson of RTC Branch 114 on Nov. 17, 2023.
