Philippine Coast Guard Sub-Station Calatagan reported that M/V Group Seven, with a gross tonnage of 64.63 tons and a net tonnage of 20.59 tons, departed Calatagan Port for Daang Hari, Navotas City, for dry docking with a Special Permit to Navigate issued by the Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) on January 3.

CGSS Calatagan said that while maneuvering at Calatagan Port, the vessel drifted into a shallow portion and was stuck in a muddy area.

CGSS Calatagan promptly directed the vessel's captain to disembark all crew members and coordinated with the shipping company for the extraction operation.

Marina conducted an inspection and confirmed that the propeller remains intact and in good condition.

No oil slicks were reported in the vicinity of the ship.
