The holiday season may be over but that doesn’t mean its spirit of giving should stop, too. Among the many that keep it alive are fashion labels Gap and Old Navy. The two global apparel brands join forces for a meaningful cause that's on a mission to spread joy to those in need.
Old Navy and Gap invite Filipino shoppers to participate in their special donation drive by bringing old toys and kids’ clothes to their stores. The initiative is in partnership with Hands On Manila, the first Hands on Network affiliate in the Asia Pacific region, committed to empowering everyone to contribute to the community however they can.
“We are thrilled to launch this joint donation drive with the aim of making a difference in the lives of those who need it most,” Kaline Cancio-Bautro, division manager under the SSI Group, said. “Gap and Old Navy have always been committed to bringing together families and making special moments together... We invite our valued customers to join us in this heartwarming initiative and contribute to creating joy for others.”
Shoppers can put their pre-loved items in the donation box present at the brands’ stores. After donating, customers will receive 30 percent off on regular and sale-priced items redeemable both in-store and online until Jan. 31, which is also the end date of its donation drive. The donation boxes are present at Gap’s stores in Glorietta 4, Shangri-la Plaza, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, Trinoma, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Alabang Town Center, and Abreeza, Davao, as well as Old Navy stores in Bonifacio High Street and Shangri-la Plaza.
