To create an exclusive catalog for the coming lunar new year, Fendi establishes a trio collaboration with Fujiwara’s Fragment and one of the biggest entertainment ventures in Japan, The Pokémon Company.

The limited-edition lineup brings together the maison’s most recognizable symbols, the Peekaboo and Baguette bags for all genders, along with the iconic FF logo, packaged with one of Pokémon’s most familiar dragon-type monsters for the Year of the Wood Dragon.

The literary and cultural influence of dragons spans time and borders. From ancient mythology to contemporary media, from east to west, the fearsome beast has been a prominent figure of both strength and prosperity. It is also considered the most powerful creature of the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac.

In the latest collaboration, the Italian luxury house’s mastery in crafting leather goods captures the essence of the amiable Pokémon, which is all about evolution. Among the “OG” or first-generation pocket monsters in the series, Dragonite is seen in different stages, represented in the inlays and prints on FF jacquard and FF canvas backings, the Peekaboo and Baguette bags, shopper bags, and men’s camera cases.

The theme is most apparent in the full-blown leather 3D marquetry embodiment of the adorable yellow dragon and its pre-evolved form, Dratini. These playful new Baguette and Mini Baguette bags are available in charming nano sizes too.

A unique Baguette with detailed FF embroidery of micro beads showcases the three forms of the dragon Pokémon along with fringes. A Peekaboo ISeeU Medium in glossy white crocodile leather is enhanced with Dragonair and Dratini elements on the metal handle and chain strap.

Other cute items from the limited-edition collector’s series are the Baguette Pouch, Mini By The Way, Mini Mon Trésor, small leather goods, as well as Dragonite key charms and textile accessories.
