Drug suspect yields P136K 'shabu' in Imus buy-bust

CAVITE – Authorities collared a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in Imus City on Thursday, Jan. 4.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office identified the suspect as alias Sob, a resident of General Trias City.

The suspect was nabbed after being caught in the act of selling illegal drugs to a police poseur buyer.

Confiscated during the operation were 10 plastic sachets containing suspected “shabu” with an estimated street value of P136,000.

Alias Sob is now under the custody of Imus Component City Police Station and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The confiscated pieces of evidence, on the other hand, will be brought to the Provincial Forensic Unit.
