The Cool Smashers announced they have let go of Domingo on a social media post on Friday, Jan. 5.

“Maraming salamat sa galing, husay at puso na ibinigay mo inside and outside the court at higit sa lahat bilang isang Creamline Cool Smasher. Your Creamline Family wishes you endless success & more hataw na good vibes!,” the post said.

The 24-year-old Domingo has reportedly joined the Akari Chargers for the upcoming season opener All-Filipino Conference in February but not until her maiden overseas stint is over.

Domingo missed out on the Cool Smashers’ season-ending campaign that saw them lift their seventh franchise title after signing with Nakhon Ratchasima VC in the Women's Volleyball Thailand League.

With Domingo’s departure, the esteemed middle position opened up and it didn’t take long for Choco Mucho skipper Bea de Leon to find her way to the spot.

In her four seasons with Creamline, Domingo catapulted herself as one of the league’s best blockers as she powers the Chargers’ rotation composed of Dindin Santiago-Manabat, recently recruited Grethcel Soltones and promising holdovers Faith Nisperos and Fifi Sharma.
