Woman arrested in Pasay drug bust

Members of the Pasay City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) arrested a woman during a buy-bust operation that resulted in the confiscation of over P21,000 worth of shabu on Jan. 3

Col. Mario Mayames, Pasay City police chief, said the suspect identified as alias "Yang" was nabbed at around 3:30 p.m. on Magtibay St. in Barangay 134, Zone 13, Pasay City.

The operation was conducted in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Mayames said confiscated from the suspect were 19 small heat-sealed transparent sachets containing 3.2 grams shabu worth P21,760, a P500 bill used as buy-bust money, and a cellular phone.

The suspect was brought to the SDEU custodial facility and was charged with possession of illegal drugs.
