CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police have arrested five most wanted persons in Central Luzon.
The suspects were identified as Mildred Esquivel, Jerry Pikit-Pikit, Jerald Nino Fernandez, Gilbert Victoria, and Engelbert M. de Leon
Esquivel, No. 8 MWP on the municipal level in Jaen, Nueva Ecija, was nabbed for frustrated murder on New Year’s Day with a P120,000 bail.
De Leon was apprehended the following day in Olongapo City. The No. 3 MWP on the municipal level had a warrant of arrest for rape with no bail recommended.
On January 3, Pampanga lawmen nabbed Pikit-Pikit and Fernandez.
Pikit-Pikit, an MWP on the regional level, was apprehended for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) with no bail recommended.
Fernandez, an MWP on the provincial level, had a warrant of arrest for rape by sexual intercourse, acts of lasciviousness, and child abuse, with no bail recommended.
In San Miguel, Bulacan, Victoria, No. 1 MWP on the municipal level, was nabbed for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition with a P100,000 bail.
PRO-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said wanted individuals have nowhere to hide in Central Luzon.
“We will make sure that the arrested most wanted individuals will face the consequences of their crimes. These accomplishments only show that the police are restless and will continue to intensify its anti-criminality campaign and ensure peace and order in the communities.”
