4 hurt as pick-up truck rams Bacolod hospital emergency room

BACOLOD CITY – Three hospital staff and a patient were injured after a pick-up truck rammed a private hospital emergency room in Barangay Mandalagan here on Thursday, January 4.

Police Major Armilyn Vargas, head of Police Station 3, said the car driver was parking his vehicle when he allegedly stepped on the accelerator.

Vargas said the car driver went to the hospital for a check-up.

He was unharmed but three hospital staff and one patient at the emergency room sustained minor injuries.

Vargas said the car driver and the victims as well as the hospital management have reached a settlement.
