It’s been a month since Kathryn Bernardo changed her hair color into this bright orange hue. And it seems she’s enjoying this new look of hers.
Manila Bulletin Lifestyle reached out to the woman who helped Kathryn achieve this new look—Jheiniva “Jhen” Hizon of Jhen Hair Extensions. “We offer hair solutions for men and women. Hair extensions are our best seller, but for those who have special needs such as bald and thinning parts. We also have hair toppers and toupees. We also offer hair dyeing,treatments and scalp spas.”
Jhen revealed that it was Sofia Andres who introduced Kathryn to her years ago. In fact, they were responsible for Kathryn Bernardo’s cherry red locks (hair extensions) from January 2023. “For her recent look, it’s just hair color in orange, or what I call ‘cowboy copper.’”
“That’s what I like about Kath. She knows what she wants, and we work together with hairstylist JV (John Valle) to achieve her vision. And, frankly, anything looks good on kath,” adds Jhen.
While this orange hue is not a common choice for Filipinas, Jhen assures that this hair color complements morenas. “I advise you to go through an assessment first before getting your hair done, so we can explain the process properly to achieve the desired look,” she reminds. She added that “orange hair loses its vibrant color fast, but we have special shampoos that can help with that concern,” which is why it’s best that interested clients go through consultations first before going through this vibrant change of hair color.
