BACOLOD CITY – Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. has committed to give P20 million for this city.

Mayor Alfredo Abelardo “Albee” Benitez, in a press briefing here on Tuesday, January 30, said that P10 million will be allocated to support the city’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program while the remaining amount will be used for the construction of a building here.
Benitez said they will have to look for a government property to build the building.
Revilla led the payout of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) at the Bacolod City College (BCC) gymnasium in Barangay Taculing here on Saturday, January 27.
Nine-hundred five beneficiaries from 12 barangays in this city received P4,800 each or a total of about P4.3 million in financial assistance.
TUPAD provides emergency employment for displaced workers.
