PRC releases oral exam schedule for mechanical engineers

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday, Jan. 31 the date and venue of the face-to-face oral examination for Professional Mechanical Engineers (PMEs).

In a social media post, PRC said the examination will be held from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 at the PRC-Philippine International Convention Center (PICC)

"All examinees and examination personnel are enjoined to observe the minimum health standards throughout the conduct of the face-to-face Oral Examination," PRC said.

Moreover, the PRC emphasized that the PRB Secretariat Division email addresses, [email protected] and [email protected], are available to the public for inquiries.

Scheduled in-person oathtaking

Meanwhile, the regulatory body has scheduled face-to-face oathtaking ceremonies for the following professions:

For Radiologic and X-ray Technologists inductees, their oathtaking will be on Feb. 10 in Koronadal City. While for new agriculturists on Feb. 8 in Davao City.

Meanwhile, the PRC noted that participants must complete the pre-registration process on its website http://online.prc.gov.ph before noon on the oathtaking day.

They must also print the oath form, which includes a generated QR code, to confirm their attendance.

For those unable to attend the in-person oathtaking ceremony, arrangements can be made for a special appointment or an online ceremony option will be made available.

"More details about the online ceremony will be posted once the schedule is confirmed," PRC added.
