Pasay BPLO to start issuance of occupational permit, health certificate

The Pasay City Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) announced the issuance of occupational permit and health certificate starting Feb. 1.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the BPLO, under the supervision of Mitch Pardo, will conduct the issuance of occupational and health certificates at the second floor north parking of Government Service Express (GSE) located at the SM Mall of Asia and at the ground floor of Double Dragon Plaza from Feb 1 to March 31 only.

She said those who will be applying for the permits must bring their community tax certificate which is also available on site, and their National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) or local police clearance which is also available at the Double Dragon one-stop shop.

The mayor also said applicants must also bring their health certificate, result of their urinalysis and fecalysis both with one month validity, and X-ray with three months' validity.

Rubiano said applicants for food handlers must submit their dental certificate.

Minors must bring their guardian's or parent's consent while for first time job seekers, they must secure an oath of undertaking from their barangay.

She added that applicants may visit the areas mentioned from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the Facebook page of BPLO or call at 8551-0514 and 8833-3726 for questions.
