1,809 pass January 2024 licensure exam for architects — PRC


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday, Jan. 31, that 1,809 out of 2,933—or 61.68 percent passed the January 2024 Architecture Licensure Examination (ALE).

Sherilyn Reyes Baniago, a graduate of the University of the East-Caloocan, emerged as the top scorer in the ALE results with an average of 85.50 percent.

Meanwhile, Jearlene Deleon Lipa of Manuel S. Enverga of the University Foundation-Lucena City and Julian Aldrin Claudio Medina of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas secured the second spot, both averaging 85.30 percent.

The January 2024 ALE was administered by the Board of Architecture, headed by Robert S. Sac, chairman; Robert M. Mirafuente and Corazon V. Fabia-Tandoc, Members.

The examination was held from Jan. 24 to 26 in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

All successful examinees interested in participating in the face-to-face mass oath-taking must register no later than noon on the day preceding the scheduled oath-taking date. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.

For those unable to attend the mass oath-taking, the option to join the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking is available. The schedule will be posted on the official website once confirmed.

To schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph, choose "e-OATH" as the transaction.

Online registration will close five calendar days before the online oath-taking day.

Furthermore, inductees must print the "Oath of Professional" form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.

After the oath-taking, inductees should proceed with the Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.
