BUTUAN CITY – Eighteen personnel of the Police Regional Office-13 were awarded for outstanding performance on Monday, January 29, at the PRO-13 headquarters in Camp Rafael C. Rodriguez here.
Police Col. Eleazar P. Matta, PRO-13 Deputy Regional Director for Administration, awarded the Medalya ng Kagalingan to 12 Surigao del Sur Police Provincial Office (PPO) personnel headed by Police Lt. Col. Felix P. Gonzales Jr. for apprehending the second most wanted person in Surigao del Sur for murder in Barangay Diatagon, Lianga, Surigao del Sur.
This medal was also awarded to five members of the Agusan del Sur PPO led by Police Major Carmel D. Malubay for arresting the Caraga region’s 10th most wanted person in Purok 5, Barangay Poblacion, Trento, Agusan del Sur.
Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) Flordemae Etchon was awarded the Medalya ng Papuri for her efficiency, loyalty, and dedication in her nine years as crime registrar of the Barobo Municipal Police Station (MPS) in Surigao del Sur.
"I laud the devotion of our personnel to their sworn duties that contributed to the peace and order in the Caraga region. May these recognitions serve as an inspiration to other police officers to unleash their best effort in the delivery of services," said PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft.
