Missing fisherman found dead

DINALUNGAN, Aurora – A missing fisherman was found dead in this town on Monday, January 29.

Adrian Inocencio was fishing near the reef line of Barangay Ditawani here when he was swept away by high waves and strong current.

The Coast Guard Sub-Station Casiguran mounted a search and retrieval operation with the Coast Guard Sub-Station Dipaculao, Dinalungan police, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, and Bantay Dagat personnel.

Inocencio’s body was recovered in Barangay Ditawani here and was turned over to his family.
