19 wanted persons caught in Cordillera


CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Nineteen wanted persons, including four most wanted persons, were arrested in the Cordillera while 60 municipalities in the region recorded zero crime incidents from January 21 to 27.

The Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division said the Baguio City Police Office nabbed 10, followed by the Benguet Police Provincial Office with four, Abra PPO and Ifugao PPO with two  each, and the Kalinga PPO with one.

Of the four MWP, two are most wanted persons on the provincial and city levels.

As a result of intensified police presence, 60 municipalities in the region and two police stations in Baguio City recorded zero crime incidents during the week.

Zero crime incidents were recorded in 25 out of 27 municipalities in Abra, nine out of 13 in Benguet, five out of seven in Kalinga, nine out of 11 in Ifugao, eight out of 10 in Mountain Province, and four out of seven in Apayao.

Police Station 1 (Naguilian) and 4 (Loakan) also recorded zero crime incidents out of the 10 police stations in Baguio City.
