Malabon gov't opens nominations for Natatanging Epifanio Delos Santos Gawad Parangal

The Malabon City government opened on Wednesday, Jan. 3, the nominations for its first-ever Natatanging Epifanio Delos Santos Gawad Parangal.

The Natatanging Epifanio Delos Santos Gawad Parangal is a search for five individuals or institutions with outstanding contributions, achievements and exemplary performance in various fields such as social protection, environment and natural resources, social welfare, culture and arts, economy/business, and education, that have served the locality and brought great development to the city.

The city government said those who are interested may apply by filling up an accomplished nomination form which can be accessed through https://bit.ly/GawadParangalNominationForm, and submit their achievement profile.

They can send their forms and achievement profile to [email protected] until Jan. 31

The local government said that the Natatanging Epifanio Delos Santos Gawad Parangal awarding ceremony will be held on April 19, 2024 as part of the Malabon Cityhood Anniversary celeberation.

It added that residents may coordinate with City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (CTACAO) for questions about the awards.

The late Epifanio Delos Santos was a journalist, lawyer, politician, and public servant known as the "First Filipino Academician." He was born in Malabon on April 7, 1871.
