A Filipino woman, who was previously in coma, in Russia has returned to the Philippines.
This came after the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) facilitated her repatriation through the Assistance-To-Nationals Fund (ATN).
The 63-year-old woman, who was in comatose state and hospitalized for a month, had reunited with her family on Dec. 28, 2023, the DFA said.
“All expenses related to her repatriation, including airfare, medical escort, and all documents and clearances, were arranged by the Philippine Embassy in Moscow,” it added.
