Delivery rider nabbed for possession of shabu in Taguig
A delivery rider spent the first day of the new year in jail after he was arrested for possession of suspected shabu in Taguig.
Southern Police District (SPD) Officer-in-charge Brig. Gen. Mark Pespes identified the suspect only by his alias, Jove, 34, who was nabbed on Jan. 1 on Villa Street, Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig.

Personnel from the Taguig Police’s Substation 9 were conducting foot patrol when they saw the suspect in alleged possession of two plastic sachets, which turned out to contain suspected shabu, weighing 23.1 grams valued at P157,080.
Jove is detained at the Taguig Police’s custodial facility and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
