Courier company delivery hub robbed

CALAUAG, Quezon – Unidentified armed men robbed the delivery hub of a prominent courier company on the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Santa Maria here on Tuesday, January 2.

Police said the security guard of the J&T courier company was about to have dinner when the suspects armed with handguns arrived onboard black sedan at about 8 p.m.

The suspects declared a holdup and disarmed the security guard.

They rounded up five employees – Allen Iverson Atienza, Yvette Joy Dealca Seguerra, Gilbert Indozo, Roland Florido, and Kristan Cuerdo – and carted away the remittances from clients and three cellphones of employees.

Police have launched a dragnet operation against the suspects.
