The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday, Jan. 3 said the northeast monsoon or "amihan" may still bring rains to Luzon.
In its 4 p.m. bulletin, PAGASA said Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains, while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
PAGASA said flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by the easterlies of the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean and localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA also warned the public of threats from possible flash floods or landslides in times of severe thunderstorms.
