9 nabbed by Bulacan cops in anti-criminality ops


The Bulacan police arrested six drug suspects, two wanted persons, and a trespasser in a series of police operations in the province on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 2 and 3.


In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, personnel of Baliwag City police station arrested a 36-year-old man after causing disturbance, property damage, and issuing threats in the neighborhood of Sitio Sulong in Barangay Tilapayong.

Baliwag City police probers said the suspect forcibly entered the complainant's garage, where he damaged a car, motorcycle, and CCTV monitor using a metal tube. Subsequently, he allegedly threatened to harm the occupants of another house. 

Criminal complaints related to alarms and scandal, malicious mischief, grave threat, trespass to dwelling, and Batas Pambansa 6 (An Act of Reducing Penalty for Illegal Possession of Bladed Weapon) have been filed against the suspect.

Meanwhile, more apprehensions were carried out by the tracker teams from Malolos City and Baliwag City police stations wherein two individuals who were wanted for various crimes and offenses based on court-issued warrants were arrested. 

They are currently held in custody by the respective arresting units and stations pending due process.

Moreover, a series of anti-illegal drug operations led to the arrest of six individuals engaged in the illegal drug trade in the areas of Baliwag City, Meycauayan City, and Marilao, Bulacan.

Confiscated from the suspects were 11 sachets of suspected shabu valued at P19,380 and the marked money.
