14 wanted persons nabbed in Cordillera

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Police nabbed 14 wanted persons during the week-long anti-crime campaign in the Cordillera from December 24 to 30.

Based on the records from the Police Regional Office-Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division, the Benguet Police Provincial Office nabbed six wanted persons, followed by the Baguio City Police Office with four, Ifugao PPO with two, and Apayao PPO and Kalinga PPO with one each.

Of the 14 arrested personalities, one was listed as the most wanted person on the municipal level.

PRO-Cordillera said 61 municipalities in the region and five police stations in Baguio City recorded zero crime incidents in same period.

Zero crime incidents were recorded in 22 municipalities in Abra, 10 in Ifugao, nine in Benguet, six in Apayao, four in Kalinga, and 10 in Mountain Province.

The Naguilian Police Station (1), Camdas (2), Loakan (4), Aurora Hill (6), and Kennon Road (8) recorded zero crime incidents out of the 10 police stations in Baguio City.
