Parañaque LGU distributes musical instruments to public schools

The Parañaque City government distributed musical instruments to the Drum and Lyre Corps of the 27 public schools in the city on Friday, Jan. 26.

Mayor Eric Olivarez and Councilor Marvin Santos led the distribution of the musical instruments at the Fortuna Village Multi-purpose gym in Barangay San Isidro, Parañaque City.

They were also joined by Congressman Edwin Olivarez and Local School Board Head  Rhodora Villar in the distribution of musical instruments.

Olivarez said the musical instruments will help the Drum and Lyre Corps in promoting music in the city.

Maestro Ismael Allanigue was also given recognition for his valuable contribution to music in the city.
