NCCA Gallery exhibits art crafted from waste

Maria Tuazon’s art showcase, ‘Repurposing the Future,’ blends sustainability with creativity

Explore the blend of sustainability and creativity at Maria Tuazon's "Repurposing the Future” eco-art exhibit at the NCCA Gallery in Intramuros, extended till Jan. 31.

The exhibit features 30 upcycled art pieces crafted from plastic, paper, metal, wood, and rubber waste, helping champion environmentalism one trash at a time.

“Through my art, I reuse and repurpose discarded materials to create unique and meaningful pieces, while also using art to raise awareness about climate change and waste,” said Tuazon.

The Legazpi-based freelance artist’s eco-masterpieces range from acrylic paintings to mixed media works — all embedded with environmental advocacy that transcends the gallery.
