Missing school principal found dead

ENRILE, Cagayan – The body of a missing school principal was found floating on the Cagayan River in Barangay Maddarulug Norte here on Sunday. 

She was approximately 5’3” in height, early 50s, wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, and a black grey T-shirt. 

Police said the body was believed to be that of a missing school principal from Barumbong, Santo Tomas, Isabela. 

Investigation said the victim left home on board a car to withdraw money on January 27.  However, the victim failed to return home, prompting her family to inform the police.

A concerned citizen found the body of the victim floating on the river the following day. 

Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
