Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the city’s Housing and Estate Development Board (HED-Board) awarded house and lot units to 42 beneficiaries on Friday, Jan. 26.
Aguilar said the HED-Board conducted a raffle under the National Housing Authority (NHA) program in Barangay Pulanglupa Uno.
Vice-Mayor April Aguilar said the 42 recipients received a 42-square-meters house and lot.
The initiative is part of the broader vision of the city government to foster an inclusive community where every resident has access to basic necessities, including affordable housing.
She also highlighted the importance of promoting social equity and inclusivity.
The vice mayor added that the HED-Board’s initiative aligns with the national government's agenda to provide sustainable and inclusive urban development.
Aguilar also said that by collaborating with the NHA, the city government continues to demonstrate its commitment in promoting the welfare and well-being of its residents.
