Police Major Ryan Villasario, deputy chief of the San Carlos City Police Station, identified the victim as Jerry Camilo.

Villasario said the victim and two suspects figured in a misunderstanding while they were drunk.

The suspects allegedly ganged up on the victim, prompting Camilo to get his grenade at home, Villasario said.

However, on his way back to his nephews, the suspects blocked his way and hacked him.

Police recovered the victim’s hand grenade in the crime scene.

The two suspects aged 33 and 19 fled, according to Villasario.
