DOH issues warning vs 'false' powdered milk endorsement
The Department of Health (DOH) issued a warning to the public about the spread of false information claiming that the agency endorses a particular brand of powdered milk containing "colostrum."

In a statement on Jan. 28, the DOH clarified that it has “not” endorsed any such product, and neither has its affiliate organizations.
It emphasized the importance of sourcing information from credible and legitimate sources to ensure the accuracy of health-related claims.
The warning comes amidst the proliferation of deceptive posts attributing endorsements to the department, leading to potential public health risks.
The DOH added that if such false endorsements persist, criminal charges may be pressed against those responsible for disseminating misleading information.
To mitigate the spread of misinformation, it urged the public to rely only on official channels for health-related updates.
