Woman arrested for possession of shabu in Pasay City

Police arrested a woman who was seen holding suspected shabu while talking to a man in Pasa City on Monday, Jan. 29.

Pasay City police chief Col. Mario Mayames, identified the suspect as alias Charity, 33, a resident of Q. Samedra St., Imus, Cavite.

Mayames said Charity was arrested by members of Pasay Police Cental Park substation at around 3:20 a.m. on Facundo St. in Barangay 123, Pasay City.

Mayames said members of the Central Park police substation were conducting routine motorcycle patrol when they spotted Charity talking to a male person while holding a transparent sachet containing shabu.

Sensing the presence of policemen, the male suspect ran away while Charity who was cornered by policemen.

The city police chief said Charity was found in possession of 3.78 grams of shabu worth P25,704.00.

She was immediately detained at the police custodial facility after her arrest and was charged with illegal possession of drugs.
