Taguig’s “Love Caravan” is a mobile program that visits communities in the city.
Ten EMBO barangays in Makati are now part of Taguig based on a Supreme Court decision, which became final last year.
The city government has been holding the “Love Caravan,” consisting of medical, dental, and nutrition services, in different EMBO barangays following the closure of health centers in these areas.
In South Cembo, about 1,400 residents received medical consultations and 105 residents had dental check-ups or procedures.
In Comembo, about 1,500 residents had medical consultations, and 316 residents received dental check-ups or procedures.
In addition, 1,434 residents in South Cembo and 1,451 residents from Comembo also received the free maintenance medications and prescriptions offered in the pharmacy at the caravan.
The “Love Caravan” provides free medical services, including consultations, check-ups, diagnostics, and laboratory services, wherein residents can avail of essential tests such as CBC, urinalysis, Random Blood Sugar (RBS), blood typing, Chest X-ray, ECG, and ultrasound.
