Pasay, Quezon City among areas with coldest temperatures --- PAGASA


The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday, Jan. 28, listed the top 10 areas in the country with the lowest temperatures among which areas in Metro Manila particularly Quezon City and Pasay City were included.

PAGASA recorded a temperature of 21.3°C in Science Garden, Quezon City, while a temperature of 22.5°C was experienced in Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Pasay City.

Based on the daily temperature updates of PAGASA, the lowest temperature recorded in Metro Manila this year was 19.9°C on Jan. 27.

Meanwhile, in Baguio City, Benguet, a temperature of 11.6°C was felt, said PAGASA.

The lowest temperature recorded in Baguio City since the start of 2024 was 9.8°C on Jan. 27, said PAGASA.

Among other areas with coldest temperatures include Laoag City, Ilocos Norte (16.8°C); Basco, Batanes (17.1°C); Casiguran, Aurora (19.5°C); Aparri, Cagayan (19.6°C); Dagupan City, Pangasinan (19.9°C); Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur (21.7°C); and Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro (22.5°C).
