President Marcos' remarks during the launch of the "Bagong Pilipinas" campaign made Kabayan Party-list Rep. Ron Salo beam with Filipino pride.

Thus, said the veteran congressman Sunday night, Jan. 28 as he enjoined his fellow public servants to heed Marcos' message.

“As I listened to the President’s speech, I felt a surge of pride in being a Filipino. The President’s vision and comprehensive master plan made me hopeful for the Philippines and for the Filipino people,” Salo said.

"By initiating reforms within the government, the President is setting an example for the entire nation to follow, demonstrating the courage and vision needed to build a brighter future for all Filipinos," he said

Salo described the Bagong Pilipinas campaign as "a bold and necessary step towards addressing the root causes of the nation's challenges".

"As advocates for genuine and inclusive change and progress, we commend President Marcos for his commitment in leading the country towards a new era of development and prosperity. His dedication in addressing the deep-seated issues within our society is truly commendable, and we stand ready to support him every step of the way," Salo added.

Kabayan Party-list also called upon all sectors of society--political, religious, educational, businesses, and beyond – to rally behind the President's vision for a better Philippines.

"It is only through collective effort and unity that we can overcome the challenges that lie ahead and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow," Salo remarked.

"We urge all sectors to set aside their differences and join hands in support of the Bagong Pilipinas campaign. Together, we can build a nation that we can all be proud of, where every Filipino has the opportunity to thrive and succeed," he said.
