Laguna solon turns 40, but looks half her age

Laguna 1st district Rep. Ma. Rene Ann Lourdes Matibag celebrated her 40th birthday last Jan. 26.

But one could easily think that she's half her actual age, given how youthful and vibrant she looks.

In her belated birthday post on Facebook on Sunday, Jan. 28, Rep. Matibag thanked her family for making her birthday one to remember. She gave a special shout-out to her husband, lawyer Melvin Matibag, in this regard.

"To my MAMBA, our Batang Upper Atty. Melvin, thank you for making each celebration a memorable one. Thank you for making me feel special and loved not just on my birthday but every single day! I love you, MAMBA!" wrote the congresswoman.

"I can't believe that turning 40 could be this great! Surrounded by the people I love the most, my birthday celebration was truly magical and would forever hold a special place in my heart," Rep. Matibag added.

Perhaps that's her very own fountain of youth--the presence and affection of the people ho truly matter to her.
