The Taguig Police arrested a 27-year-old man and seized P238,000 worth of suspected shabu on Jan. 26.
The suspect, with the alias Kel, was arrested beside a convenience store on Ballecer Extension in Barangay South Signal, Taguig at about 11:45 p.m.

The arrest was the result of a buy-bust operation conducted by the Taguig Police’s Drug Enforcement Unit.
During the operation, the police confiscated 35 grams of suspected shabu with a value of P238,000 and P500 buy-bust money placed on top of several pieces of P1,000 counterfeit money.
The drugs were turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for analysis while the suspect is detained at the custodial facility of the Taguig Police station.
