Man arrested for molesting 7-year-old girl in Manila

A 47-year-old man was arrested for forcing a seven-year-old girl to touch his private part in Sampaloc, Manila, the Manila Police District (MPD) reported on Friday, Jan. 26.

The MPD said the suspect identified as alias “Dens”, a resident of Sampaloc, was nabbed on complaints of the victim's aunt.

According to the victim, on Jan. 22, at around 8 p.m., she and her cousin were playing in their house when the victim's cousin asked for another toy.

While the girl was getting a toy inside her grandmother's house, the suspect held her hands tightly as he opened the zipper of his pants and forced her to touch his private part.

The victim went home crying and told her cousin of what happened.

The cousin immediately informed her mother, the victim's aunt who immediately lodged a complaint at the Sampaloc Police Station (PS-4) against the suspect.

The suspect is now detained at PS-4 and facing a case of acts of lasciviousness.
