K-pop artists bagged nominations at the 21st Korean Music Awards (KMA), which will be held on Feb 29. 

A total of 55 members of the selection committee including pop music critics, media music reporters and editors, music broadcast PDs, and music content planners, participated in choosing the nominees in 25 categories. 

The KMA places importance on musicality rather than popularity, album sales, and includes mainstream and non-mainstream music.
