Operatives of Quezon City Police District (QCPD) and Northern Police District (NPD) seized P310,000 worth of illegal drugs and arrested four suspects in two buy-bust operations.

Members of the QCPD Drug Enforcement Unit (QCPD-DEU) identified one of the suspects as Alexander, 35, a resident of Barangay Payatas B, Quezon City.
Based on the police report, operatives of QCPD-DEU conducted a buy-bust operation on West Avenue in Barangay Paltok, Quezon City after a concerned citizen tipped off the illegal drug activities of the suspect.
A police officer acted as a poseur-buyer and successfully bought P120,000 worth of marijuana from the suspect, which led to the latter's arrest.
Confiscated from the suspect were around two kilograms of marijuana worth P240,000, a black cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.
Meanwhile, operatives of the Navotas City Police Station (NPD) conducted an entrapment operation at around 9:39.p.m.on Jan. 26, on Paltok St. in Barangay Daanghari, Navotas City, leading to the apprehension of three drug peddlers.
Confiscated from the suspects were two heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu P70,000, and the buy-bust money.
Police withheld the names of the three arrested suspects who are set to be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police said.
