Let’s get real. There are many promising beauty and skincare brands out there that most of us want to try, but most of them are not yet available in the Philippine market.
The good thing is that Watsons heard our pleas and opened two new stores—in Power Plant Mall and Greenbelt housing some of the viral, premium skincare brands such as Beauty of Joseon, Abib, Dr. Jart+, and more.
In an interview, Jared Ernest de Guzman, Watsons' customer director and marketing, said that it has always a goal for the company to bring premium brands and products closer to Watsons customers and continuously innovate to elevate the shopping experience for everyone.
“Most of our Watsons branches, I call it basic for health and beauty essentials ,but here [in these stores] you can find these premium brands, and these are also available online,” he said. “If you download the Watsons app, you can deliver it, especially if you’re living nearby.”
According to Jared, Watsons also offers pick-up or delivery services where products and orders can be delivered in as fast as two hours. These two new stores also offer different immersive shopping features. Customers can enjoy the complete Online plus Offline (O+O) shopping experience here. Engage with knowledgeable and experienced pharmacists, explore health and beauty products from local and international brands, and seamlessly transition between in-store and online purchases through the Watsons App.
There’s also a self-checkout machine for those who don't want to queue at the counter, a dedicated machine to help customers find items, and “I’m ok to shop on my own” and “I’m ok to be assisted” bags for different kinds of shoppers.
Some of the other brands that are available in the shops are Clinique, VMV Hypoallergenics, Round Lab, Basicare, Banila Co, W.Dressroom, Clio, CosRx, Innisfree, Kaine, Laneige, and Goli.
