Pasay LGU breaks ground for linear skatepark

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano led the groundbreaking of Pasay City Linear Skatepark in Barangay 142 on Thursday, Jan. 25.

Rubiano said that through collaboration and coordination with JCI Manila headed by Le -Ann Calixto-Rubiano, the skatepark is poised to be one of the highlights of their thrust towards building more leisure spaces for the public.

The mayor said the construction of the park is aligned with the city government's grand vision to make Pasay City the very first smart and sustainable EcoCity.

Rubiano added she always advocates for the creation of spaces that will truly bring out the best in the Environment, Mother Earth and Innovation (EMI) program.

She said the area that was once thought to be stagnant and useless will turn to be one of the cleanest, most sustainable and most welcoming parks for the Pasayenos.

The mayor assured that the city government will always support the JCI Manila for its advocacies especially in environmental rehabilitation.
