
Newly promoted Manila Police District chief Brig. Gen. Thomas Arnold Ibay has reshuffled several key officials in his command.
Ibay reassigned station commanders of three police stations and conducted an official ceremonial turnover at the MPD Headquarters in Ermita, Manila on Wednesday, Jan. 24.
Lt. Col Wilfredo "Willy" Fabross from the Office of the District Logistics Division (ODLD) replaced Lt. Col. Gilbert Cruz as Ermita Police Station 5 commander, while Cruz replaced Lt. Col. Wilson Villaruel as Moriones Police Station 2 commander.
Ibay ordered Villaruel to replace Fabross in the MPD-ODLD.
Lt. Col. Ness Vargas from MPD Office of the Chief District Directorial Staff (OCDDS) replaced Lt. Col. Cristito Acohon as commander of Delpan Police Station 12, while Alcohon was deployed to MPD District Personnel and Records Management Division (ODPRMD) as Deputy 1.
The MPD chief reminded the newly appointed officers to prioritize the welfare of their respective areas of responsibility and to effectively lead the implementation of laws and rules for the benefit of the Manileños.
