A resident of Sitio Kaila II in Barangay San Roque, F-Jhay Isanan is the son of Diolito Isanan, a security guard, and Nena Isanan, a housewife.

F-Jhay has since known the hardships of life, making it his inspiration to finish his studies as a scholar and help provide for their family since he also have other younger siblings.

According to Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares, F-Jhay has has actively participated in different contests and organizations in his school, further honing his knowledge and skills. These all came into fruition when he graduated with High Honors during his Junior and Senior High School years in San Jose National High School.

Knowing the weight of expenses in college, F-Jhay decided to work as a service crew in a fast-food restaurant, juggling his responsibilities as a service crew in the morning and as a student in the afternoon until evening for four years to pay for his education and to help his family as well.

"Ang kaniyang trabaho’t pagiging iskolar, na sinamahan pa ng kaniyang hindi matatawarang sipag at determinasyon, ang nagsilbi niyang gasolina tungo sa pangarap na matagumpay na makapagtapos ng pag-aaral (Him being an employee and a scholar, combined with his unrelenting dedication and determination served as his fuel to achieve his dream and successfully finish his studies)," Ynares said.

"Congratulations on your well-deserved success, F-Jhay! Remember that your outstanding milestone is not just a celebration of your academic excellence, but also a celebration of all your diligence and persistence, setbacks and triumphs, and everything in between," Ynares said.
