A storage facility of the Doctor Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in Sta. Cruz, Manila was partially damaged after an electrical ignition started a fire on Wednesday night, Jan. 24, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported on Thursday, Jan. 25.
The BFP said that the fire started at 11:52 p.m. and was immediately extinguished at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday.
It said that the fire started on the second floor of the hospital, where a loose wire caused an electrical ignition.
It added that the fire caused an estimated P1,000 damage to property.
No one was reportedly injured in the incident.
