Three wanted persons were arrested in a series of anti-criminality operations conducted by the Pasay City Police on Jan. 24 and 25.
Col. Mario Mayames, Pasay City police chief said the suspects were identified as alias Mark Joseph, a member of Sputnik Gang; alias Robert, and alias Mac.
Mayames said Mark Joseph was arrested at around 5:30 p.m. on Saint Peter St. in Maricaban, Pasay City by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Racquelen Abary-Vasquez of Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 116 for illegal possession of drugs.
The suspect was immediately turned over to the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) after his arrest.
The second suspect, Robert, who is facing cyber libel, was nabbed at around 7:00 p.m. by personnel of Mall of Asia (MOA) police substation.
Robert was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Ronald August Tan of Pasay RTC Branch 112.
The city police chief said the third suspect, Mac, was arrested on Jan. 25 at around 12:30 a.m. at Market Road, Barangay 93, Pasay City.
Mayames said Mac was nabbed on the strength of a warrant of arrest for rape issued by Judge Anali B. Oga-Brual of Makati RTC Branch 138.
