There’s hardly any rest for the Women Tennis Association (WTA) No. 187 Eala as she is also set to compete in the quarterfinals of the doubles event with her Latvian partner Darja Semenistaja against American Jessie Aney and German Lena Papadakis at 6 p.m. on the same day.

Interestingly, the 18-year-old Eala will meet with her doubles partner world No. 142 Semenistaja as her singles quarterfinal foe on Friday, Jan. 26.

Eala kicked off her campaign in the singles competition with a convincing 6-2, 6-2 victory over Hungarian Fanny Stollár a day prior before pulling off an identical performance in the Round of 16.
