P714,000 shabu seized in buy-busts

CAMP DIEGO SILANG, La Union â€“ The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 1 (Ilocos) seized suspected shabu worth P714,000 in buy-bust operations in Pangasinan and La Union last week.

TWO suspected drug pushers were arrested and shabu valued at P340,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.

PDEA-Region 1 Director Joel B. Plaza said they nabbed two suspected drug pushers and seized shabu valued at P340,000 in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, on January 16.

Plaza identified the suspects as Kenneth Earl G. Garcia and Mary Grace P. Sandoval, considered high-value drug personalities in Urdaneta.

The following day, January 17, PDEA apprehended four suspected drug pushers â€“ Herman S. Miligan, Marvin A. Aluyen, Joeymar P. Gando, and Chester Luke C. Gallardo â€“ in Bacnotan, La Union.

Confiscated from them were two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu worth P374,000.

Suspects face drug-related charges and detained at the PDEA-Pangasinan Provincial Office and PDEA-Region 1 in Camp Diego Silang here.
