No communication between DILG, ICC investigators in supposed drug war-probe —Abalos
There is no communication between the Department of the Interior Local Government (DILG) and the International Criminal Court (ICC), a Cabinet official said.

"As far as our office is concerned, the DILG is, I have no knowledge about this, there is no communication with them, nothing at all," DILG Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. said in a Palace briefing on Wednesday, Jan. 24.
Abalos made the statement amid claims that ICC investigators have completed their investigation and evidence gathering in the country on the alleged human rights violation during the brutal war on drugs of the previous administration.
On Tuesday, President Marcos disclosed that the government is monitoring the movements of the ICC to make sure "that they do not come into contact with any agency of government."
He also revealed that he has directed the police and local governments to not respond to the ICC as he does not recognize the body's jurisdiction over the country and that he sees it as a threat to the country's sovereignty.
Abalos did not elaborate about the directive mentioned by the President when asked about it but he said "we will follow the lead of the President."
